Soccer Recap: Canoga Park Takes a Loss

Canoga Park lost against Van Nuys back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Canoga Park Hunters fell just short of the Van Nuys Wolves by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Hunters can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 650th, while Wolves are ranked 312th).

Canoga Park's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8-3. As for Van Nuys, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3-3.

Canoga Park has already played their next contest (against Kennedy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Van Nuys will head out to take on San Fernando at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Fernando will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
