Volleyball Recap: Kendrick Find Success

The Kendrick Cherokees beat the Therrell Panthers 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cherokees.

Kendrick easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Kendrick's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Therrell, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Kendrick will welcome Calhoun County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Therrell, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Atlanta at 6:30 p.m. on September 2.
