Soccer Game Preview: Dunmore vs. Lake-Lehman

The Dunmore Bucks will head out to face off against the Lake-Lehman Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dunmore comes in on seven and Lake-Lehman on 18.

On Saturday, Dunmore needed a bit of extra time to put away Western Wayne. They had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Dunmore were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Lake-Lehman kept a clean sheet against Scranton Prep on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cavaliers. Lake-Lehman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Scott Egbert and Aiden Gallagher scored all three of Lake-Lehman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Dunmore's record is now 15-4. As for Lake-Lehman, their record now sits at 19-1.

Dunmore beat Lake-Lehman by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bucks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
