Basketball Recap: Converse Takes a Loss

Converse came into this matchup off a tough 25-point loss back in December of 2025. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Leesville Wampus Cats by a score of 63-61 on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Wampus Cats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Converse's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Leesville, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Converse won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Plain Dealing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leesville, they will host Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
