Basketball Recap: Prince George's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Prince George lost against Dinwiddie back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Prince George Royals took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dinwiddie Generals. While the Royals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Generals 18-13 in the first quarter.

Madisyn Hurtt went supernova for Dinwiddie, putting up 36 points. Those 36 points gave Hurtt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Berry, who posted 12 points.

Prince George's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Dinwiddie, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Prince George and Godwin will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Dinwiddie, they will face off against Petersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dinwiddie is facing Petersburg at the right time seeing as Petersburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
