Baseball Game Preview: Leo Lions vs. Aurora Central Catholic Chargers

Leo is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Aurora Central Catholic a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Leo Lions will host the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Leo came up short against Marmion on Tuesday, falling 9-3.

Devin Vassel was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat St. Francis on Tuesday and fell 7-6.

Tyler Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Aidan Crisci, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Aurora Central Catholic now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Leo, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
