Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Onaga). They put the hurt on the Blue Valley Rams with a sharp 20-5 victory on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Buffaloes sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Bridgett Campbell made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
