Ottawa entered their tilt with Sterling on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Golden Warriors a 7-0 shutout. Considering Ottawa have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Sterling from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Chloe Carmona led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Ottawa pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four contests. As for Sterling, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Ottawa is taking a road trip to square off against Metamora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
