Williston has gone a perfect 6-0 against Bronson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Red Devils will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Williston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Two weeks ago, Williston beat Newberry 7-4. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Sarah Hollender was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Luna Asencion, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Layla Crago, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Williston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Bronson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let Wildwood get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Presley Thomas was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Brystal Howard, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
The win (which was Bronson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Williston, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Williston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Bronson struggles in that department as they've averaged .350. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Williston's way against Bronson in their previous matchup back in March, as Williston made off with an 11-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
