Softball Recap: Badin Takes a Loss

Badin lost against Hamilton back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams lost 9-1 to the Big Blue.

Kendall P. put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two stolen bases.

Badin has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-5 record this season. As for Hamilton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badin will venture away from home to take on Bishop Fenwick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will face off against Lakota West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
