Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Friendship Collegiate Academy). They snuck past the Paul Public Charter International Pirates with a 69-64 victory on Tuesday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nasir Rodgers, who went 7 of 13 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Quran Williams, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points.

The win snapped Friendship Collegiate Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-8 record. As for Paul Public Charter International, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Friendship Collegiate Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-40 victory against Thurgood Marshall Academy on the 15th. Paul Public Charter International has also already played their next contest, a 96-38 loss against Friendship Tech Prep Academy on the 16th.
