If Montrose was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Scranton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Meteors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunmore Bucks on Thursday. The Meteors' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Montrose ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 25-21.

SADIE JONES paced Montrose's offense, picking up 16 kills. JONES got some help from GRACIE JONES and her 25 assists. Finally, MOLLY WELLER kept Montrose's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Montrose's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Dunmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season.
