Volleyball Game Preview: Joshua Springs Christian Lightning vs. Weaver Monarchs

The Joshua Springs Christian Lightning will challenge the Weaver Monarchs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Joshua Springs Christian will be strutting in after a win while Weaver will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Joshua Springs Christian got the win against Noli Indian by a conclusive 3-0. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Weaver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Palm Valley, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-7.

Weaver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Joshua Springs Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything went Joshua Springs Christian's way against Weaver in their previous meeting back in September, as Joshua Springs Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Lightning repeat their success, or do the Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
