Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake of the Woods). They claimed a resounding 71-38 win over the Red Lake Warriors. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Red Lake had strong showings from Rhianna May, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards, and Lyreanna McClain, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave May a new career-high in steals (six).

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Red Lake, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
