Everything went their way against the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings on Friday as the Webberville Spartans made off with a 67-45 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Calvary Baptist Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gauge Roy, who posted 15 points and five boards. Brayden Daniels was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points.
Webberville's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
