South Adams is 8-1 against Southern Wells since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Starfires will be playing at home against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. South Adams is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 36.6 points per game this season.
On Friday, South Adams took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-14 win over Woodlan. With the Starfires ahead 31-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Will Patterson was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. Those 129 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Adams was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 78.2 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 189.
South Adams' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Kaleb Minger with two sacks.
Meanwhile, Southern Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of Heritage. The Raiders were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
South Adams' victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. As for Southern Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: South Adams has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 367 total yards per game. It's a different story for Southern Wells, though, as they've been averaging only 220.6 total yards. Will South Adams be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Raiders flip the script?
