It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Chapin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the River Bluff Gators 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Chapin sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Grace Benson and Lexie Kilmon scored both of Chapin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Chapin pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six matchups. As for River Bluff, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.

Coming up, Chapin will square off against Irmo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River Bluff, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dutch Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. River Bluff will be up against Dutch Fork's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.17 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
