Wamogo Regional comes up short despite Patrick Weaving's dominant performance

Recap: Wamogo Regional Warriors vs. Nonnewaug Chiefs
The Wamogo Regional Warriors were the 63-62 winner over the Nonnewaug Chiefs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Wamogo Regional took a hard 70-51 fall against Nonnewaug on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Wamogo Regional still got an impressive performance from Patrick Weaving, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Coffey, who scored 17 points.
Wamogo Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Nonnewaug, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wamogo Regional will square off against Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nonnewaug is on the road again on Monday and play against O'Brien RVT at 5:30 p.m. on December 18th. Hopefully O'Brien RVT focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday.
