Volleyball Recap: James Clemens Comes Up Short

James Clemens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Black Bears. Jets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Black Bears since Tuesday.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Bailey, who had nine digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

James Clemens now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Austin, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 27-4.

Coincidentally, James Clemens and Austin will both be playing Arab the next time they take the court. The Black Bears will head out to face the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jets will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
