Baseball Game Preview: Anderson County Mavericks vs. Greeneville Greene Devils

For the second straight game, Anderson County will face off against Greeneville. The Mavericks will welcome the Greene Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Anderson County heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Wednesday. They came up short against Greeneville, falling 9-1.

Anderson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Benson, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Greeneville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 27 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Anderson County, their loss dropped their record down to 26-21.
