Volleyball Game Preview: Pentucket Regional vs. North Andover Scarlet Knights

Pentucket Regional will venture away from home to challenge the North Andover Scarlet Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Andover took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pentucket Regional, who comes in off a win.

Pentucket Regional is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since September 15th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Essex Tech. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pentucket Regional.

Pentucket Regional wouldn't go down easily and took Essex Tech into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 14-25, 26-28, 16-14.

Meanwhile, North Andover came up short against Peabody Veterans Memorial on Monday and fell 3-1.

North Andover started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Pentucket Regional will have to contain Isabella Wong as she made an impact in North Andover's last game. She had 12 digs and two assists.

North Andover now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Pentucket Regional, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
