League recap: Estill's hot bat leads Santa Fe Christian

Josh Estill was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .500 average, three home runs and eight RBIs. His Santa Fe Christian team went 2-0.

Bishop's is now in the midst of a 5-game losing streak. The Knights lost 5-4 to Coronado last week.

The Eagles boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. On the season, Santa Fe Christian has allowed just 161 hits, while striking out 250 batters. Nolan Gannon leads Santa Fe Christian with 127 strikeouts in 77 innings pitched.

Parker's Robert Mahoney finished his week with six hits, tops in the league. He is third in the league with 34 hits this year, and has a .366 batting average.

He ranks first in the league with nine on the year.



Carter Watson drove in four runners as Calvary Christian defeated Horizon 10-3 on Friday.
