Football Recap: Bay City Takes Down Tuloso-Midway in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bay City walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees with a sharp 44-24 win on Saturday. Considering the Blackcats have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Keimarion Wiggins produced another solid effort rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 134 yards and one TD while completing 77.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (156). Bay City's leading receiver Isaac Stinson was Wiggins' top target yet again, picking up 108 receiving yards and one score.

Bay City didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Tuloso-Midway to a completion percentage of just 38.9%. The team can thank Trevan Burnett for the heroic effort on defense: he. Given Wiggins' standout performance, it's clear Tuloso-Midway's secondary just wasn't on the same level.

Tuloso-Midway's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Damian Figueroa, who rushed for 80 yards and one TD, and Joaquin Trevino, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown.

Bay City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Tuloso-Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
