Volleyball Recap: Aberdeen Comes Up Short at Home Against North Gem

Aberdeen unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the North Gem Cowboys on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 20 in a row.

Aberdeen was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made North Gem work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 28-26.

North Gem's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Aberdeen and North Gem will both be playing West Jefferson the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cowboys will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
