Basketball Recap: Berlin's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Berlin had to endure a 15-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They took down the Wethersfield Eagles 50-33 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redcoats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Berlin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Wethersfield, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Berlin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-45 win against Plainville on the 13th. Wethersfield has also already played their next game, a 75-0 defeat against East Hartford on the 14th.
