Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Spokane Wildcats vs. Lewis & Clark Tigers

Mt. Spokane and Lewis & Clark are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mt. Spokane Wildcats challenge the Lewis & Clark Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Spokane knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Lewis & Clark likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Mt. Spokane lost to Ferris on the road by a 80-66 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Saxons: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Lewis & Clark ended up a good deal behind Gonzaga Prep on Friday and lost 60-46. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewis & Clark now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Mt. Spokane, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Mt. Spokane came up short against Lewis & Clark in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 52-40. Can Mt. Spokane avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
