Baseball Recap: Alhambra Lions vs. North Mustangs

Alhambra stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against the North Mustangs as the Alhambra Lions made off with a 22-3 win. Alhambra's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Emmanuel Perez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Perez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Alhambra got a massive performance out of Omar Guzman, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-4. Jose Escalante was another key contributor, going 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.
