Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Howard). Everything went their way against the Hammond Golden Bears on Monday as the Howard Lions made off with a 70-47 win. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 57-29 victory the Golden Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Howard's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hammond, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
