Baseball Game Preview: Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers vs. Bald Eagle Area Eagles

The Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers will face off against the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bald Eagle Area took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hollidaysburg, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Hollidaysburg got the win against Bellwood-Antis by a conclusive 18-8. The Golden Tigers have beaten the Blue Devils the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Devils has come to flipping the script.

Hollidaysburg got a massive performance out of Jay Albarano, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Brady Steiner was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Hollidaysburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Bald Eagle Area lost 11-2 to DuBois on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bald Eagle Area saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Perry, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Another was Brayden Dubbs, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
