Volleyball Recap: Mesa Ridge Gets the Win

Mesa Ridge saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Manitou Springs Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Mesa Ridge never let Manitou Springs on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Manitou Springs saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Natalie Gore had 11 assists and five digs.

The victory got Mesa Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Manitou Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Mesa Ridge has already played their next game (against Discovery Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Manitou Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pueblo South on the 6th.
