Soccer Game Preview: Meade vs. Southern + How To Watch

The Meade Mustangs will take on the Southern Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Meade turned things around against Glen Burnie two weeks ago. Neither they nor the Gophers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Meade's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Southern's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Huntingtown 2-1.

Joshua Howell was the driving force of Southern's attack as he scored both of Southern's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Southern's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. Meade's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-1.

Meade skirted past Southern 1-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
