Sycamore lost against Goshen back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Aviators took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Even though they lost, the Aviators' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Kaitlyn Gambaccini was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabby Chamness, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Goshen, their record is now 11-7.

Looking ahead, Sycamore will face off against Lakota East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderhawks will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Aviators surely won't give up without a fight. As for Goshen, they will square off against Badin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
