Soccer Recap: Basalt Takes a Loss

Basalt fell victim to Steamboat Springs and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Sailors, falling 6-0. Basalt haven't had much luck with Steamboat Springs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Basalt's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-3. As for Steamboat Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, Basalt will be playing at home against Delta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delta will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Basalt surely won't give up without a fight. As for Steamboat Springs, they are taking a road trip to challenge Coal Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
