Volleyball Recap: Poway Victorious

Poway saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brad Chier, who had six digs, five kills, and one block. Chier has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 22 times he's played.

Poway's win bumped their record up to 20-14. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-10.

Poway has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Ramona on the 25th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pacific Ridge on the 25th.
