Soccer Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon lost against Randall back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Canyon Eagles fell just short of the Randall Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon's record now sits at 4-9. As for Randall, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.

Canyon and Randall could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Canyon (ranked 676th) will meet Dumas (ranked 208th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Randall will challenge West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday down 437 places (662 vs. 225).
