Grafton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Warhill Lions with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Grafton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.
Kenzie Smith paced Grafton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Olivia Dela Cruz and her 15 assists. Dela Cruz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
