Basketball Recap: Bunn Beats Warren County for Their Second Straight Victory

Bunn won the last time they faced Warren County, and Isaac Bailey did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bunn Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warren County Eagles on Wednesday, sneaking past 45-42 thanks in part to Bailey, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

DJ Smith was another key player, putting up four points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those nine boards gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Bunn and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Warren County, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunn will take on Falls Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren County, they will face off against KIPP P at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
