Warwick has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washingtonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Wizards at 4:00 p.m. Warwick is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Warwick easily dispatched Washingtonville on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Wildcats fell just short of Minisink Valley by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meghan Tennant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Eva Garofalo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Amanda Larsen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Washingtonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road. They blew past Monticello 16-4 on Wednesday. Considering the Wizards' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Washingtonville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Everything went Warwick's way against Washingtonville when the teams last played on Thursday, as Warwick made off with a 13-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
