 Russell can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Wilson Lakemen with a sharp  14-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but Russell sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
  Audrey Patel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Patel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Patel was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news, Russell got a  massive  performance out of  Paige Hutchinson, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Hutchinson has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Lili Smith, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs.
 Russell's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Wilson, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Russell will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Aynor at 4:30  p.m. Aynor's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5  runs per game  this season, so Russell's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wilson, they will be playing at home against St. Vincent-St. Mary at 11:15  a.m.  on Friday.
