Basketball Recap: King Takes a Loss

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 69-23 loss at the hands of the Renaissance Phoenix. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-14 back in December of 2024.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Renaissance, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

King will be playing at home against Mumford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Renaissance, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Detroit Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st.
