Softball Recap: Reedsburg Has No Trouble Against Lodi

Reedsburg came out on top against Lodi on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Beavers blew past the Blue Devils 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Cheyenne Raupp spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kylee Molitor, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Reedsburg's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Lodi, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Reedsburg will take on Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lodi, they will head out to take on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
