Meanwhile, Auburn Riverside sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Kentwood on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Auburn Riverside.

Daniel Hernandez and Tima Veremiy scored both of Auburn Riverside's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Kennedy Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-3 record this season. As for Auburn Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-4.
