Jasper is a perfect 5-0 against Evansville Bosse since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Evansville Bosse took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jasper, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jasper faced off against Evansville Reitz on Tuesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Panthers. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Evansville Bosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to Castle. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Jasper has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Evansville Bosse, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Jasper got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Evansville Bosse by a conclusive 19-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
