Volleyball Game Preview: Chittenango Bears vs. Proctor Raiders

Chittenango is 3-0 against Proctor since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Chittenango Bears will head out to challenge the Proctor Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Chittenango will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Chittenango made easy work of Oneida and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Proctor didn't have quite enough to beat Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Proctor took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 24-26, 25-21, 15-8.

Proctor now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Chittenango, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Everything went Chittenango's way against Proctor in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Chittenango made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chittenango since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
