Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin fell victim to Warren Hills Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Blue Streaks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Warren Hills Regional, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

When Franklin and Warren Hills Regional next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Warriors will try to stop Immaculata's three-game winning streak when they meet on Saturday. Meanwhile, Warren Hills Regional will square off against Voorhees and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Streaks 3.2, the Vikings 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
