Football Game Preview: Brady Bulldogs vs. Clifton Cubs + How To Watch

The Brady Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Clifton Cubs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brady will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Brady didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Tolar, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win.

Ashton Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Brady was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in 18 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Brady didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alijah Stark and Sean Jacoby.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clifton). They blew past Dublin, posting a 56-7 victory. Considering the Cubs have won four matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clifton found their leader in freshman Carter Ritz, who threw for 181 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 45 yards and one score.

Brady's record now sits at 7-2. As for Clifton, their record is now an identical 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Brady against Clifton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 28-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
