Laton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 45-28 fall against the Coast Union Broncos. On the bright side, the 28- point performance marked the Mustangs' highest-scoring matchup to date.

When it comes to explaining why Laton lost, don't look at Yann Jimenez. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Laton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Coast Union, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Laton has already played their next contest, a 27-22 win against Alpaugh on the 13th. As for Coast Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-25 loss against Maricopa on the 13th.
