Baseball Recap: Lake Cormorant Takes a Loss

Lake Cormorant was the 12-8 winner over South Panola when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Lake Cormorant lost 11-1 to South Panola on Monday. Lake Cormorant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Cormorant saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Romero, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lake Cormorant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for South Panola, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Lake Cormorant has already played their next game (against DeSoto Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Panola, they will challenge Olive Branch at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Tigers are facing the Conquistadors at the right time seeing as the Conquistadors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
