Baseball Recap: McDowell Titans vs. Mitchell Mountaineers
McDowell came out on top against Mitchell on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Titans walked away with an 11-7 win over the Mountaineers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Jacob Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. McDowell is undefeated when Davis posts three or more hits, but 5-13 otherwise.
In other batting news, Danny Brown was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Carson Killough, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
McDowell's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
As of now, neither McDowell nor the Mountaineers have any future games scheduled.
