After losing to Mt. Carmel the last time they met, Rancho Bernardo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Broncos blew past the Sundevils 3-0 on Thursday.

While Rancho Bernardo won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-14.

Rancho Bernardo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Mt. Carmel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Bernardo will square off against Torrey Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Carmel, they will face off against La Costa Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
